Excerpted from the folio (translated from French), This album was completed to print on the presses of l'Imprimerie nationale on June 10, 1983, while Mr. Guy Beaussang was the director and Pierre Croquet the head of l'Atelier du Livre. The chosen character, raised by hand, is the Garamont of body 24, the exclusive property of l'Établissement d'Etat. The works of Salvador Dalí were printed in the workshops and by the care of Claude Jobin, lithographer. The boxes were executed by the maître artisan, Dermont-Duval in Paris. The project manager of the work was Armand Israël. The edition of this album has been limited to IVCMLXXX examples, justified as follows: M examples on vélin d'Arches pur chiffon, numbered from I to M. Each of these examples is accompanied by II lithographs signed by Dali. The album has eighteen illustrations of Dali, signed in the board. It is also presented in a box completely sheathed in velvet and decorated with a copper plate struck from an original work by Dali covering the premier plat. MM examples on vélin d'Arches pur chiffon, numbered from MI to MMM. Each of these examples is accompanied by a lithograph signed by Dali. The album has XVIII illustrations of Dali, signed in the board. It is also presented in a box completely sheathed in velvet and decorated with a copper plate struck from an original work by Dali covering the first dish.
