Since that time, the family has included a director of Edith Halpert’s iconic, Downtown Gallery in New York; a founding artist of the Photorealist movement; two generations of gallery owners; and three generations of art world philanthropists that have been sizable benefactors of the world’s leading universities, museums, and children’s hospitals, including seven of the museums of the Smithsonian Institution, the art collections of Dartmouth College, and The George Washington University, and those of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Boston Children’s Hospital, amongst dozens of others. The experienced staff of RH Fine Art staff has frequently acted as an internal supplier to the world’s leading galleries and auction houses, and has also negotiated scores of transactions for private and public collections throughout the United States and the world including for the Smithsonian Institution, Library of Congress, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, the Detroit Institute of Arts, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, amongst over fifty others.
